while Lazarus, who held on to his faith in God despite his earthly poverty,
went to a place of eternal peace and rest.

The Book of Revelation is now literally in the flesh,
pouring God's judgment out on this earth. Will you get life or death,
and blessing or cursing? It's all up to you.

【Eternal Fire】創作意境
「有一個財主，穿著紫色袍和細麻布衣服，天天奢華宴樂。
又有一個討飯的名叫拉撒路，渾身生瘡，被人放在財主門口。」
路加福音16:19-20 和合本

死後生命。
生命的下半場。
.
我們經常花時間思索死後的世界，想知道有甚麼在等待著，
卻忽略了把今生發揮到極致。
.
路加福音詳述了主耶穌的一番教導，那是全球家喻戶曉的故事，
不論是否基督徒均耳熟能詳。那故事不僅關乎到受苦、折磨和悔恨，
也講述到同情、憐憫和救贖。
.
確實，財主注定永恆被焚燒，但他也曾有過機會。他一輩子活得稱心滿意，
應有盡有，卻從沒有停下步伐，看看坐在門口的乞丐；
他也沒有尋求賜予生命的主，反而利慾薰心，直至貪婪私慾把他拖進墳墓裡去。

另一方面，拉撒路在地上一生受苦，每口呼吸都是苦痛不已，
每秒存活都是備受煎熬。然而，他死後在亞伯拉罕身旁有一席位，
結局與比他富足和成功的財主大相逕庭。
.
兩者的故事教導我們，不僅要活出在神眼中純全正直的一生，也不應以貌取人。
我們要學會不以個人觀點看待別人，而是採納天父的視點。生命來到盡頭之時，
祂是我們交賬的對象，也是判定眾人死後去向的主。
